Description
ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು 1970 ಮತ್ತು 1980ರ ದಶಕದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೋಟ ಅಗತ್ಯ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತುರ್ತುಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಿಂತ ಆ ಸಂದರ್ಭದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ದೇವರಾಜ ಅರಸರ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದ ಛಾಪು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರಾಜ ಅರಸರ ನಡುವೆ ವಿರಸ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅರಸು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಿಂದ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸದ ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪದವಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಏರಿದ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಇಂದು ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮುಂದಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ಸ್ವತಃ ಉಚ್ಚಾಟಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷ ಅರಸರ ಆಡಳಿತಾವಧಿಯ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಡಿಗೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. ದುರಂತ ರಾಜಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸರು ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯಾದರೂ ಸಹ ಅವರ ಕಾರ್ಯನೀತಿಗಳು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಪ್ರಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಅರಸರ ನೇರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅಹಿಂದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಸರ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯದ ರಾಜಕಾರಣದ ಉತ್ತರಾಧಿಕಾರಿಯಂತೆ ಭಾವಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರರು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರ ಆಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ಅನೇಕ ಭಾರಿ ಅರಸು ಅವರೊಡನೆ ಸಮೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ತುರ್ತುಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಐದು ದಶಕಗಳೇ ಕಳೆದಿರುವ ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತುರ್ತುಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಯಾಮಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳು ಹೆಮ್ಮರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದುನಿಂತಿದೆ.
