Nemichandra's first travelogue, 'Ondu Kanasina Payana' (A Dream Journey), is by the author of 'Peruvina Pavitra Kaniveyalli' (In the Sacred Valley of Peru). It narrates the thrilling account of two women who, on their own, explored England and Europe about a quarter-century ago. The author, who brought back immense experiences in a small purse, says, 'If you dream, wings will sprout to fly.'

Nemichandra, the author of this work, is known as a storyteller and columnist. She is a recipient of the 'Dana Chintamani Attimabbe' award from the Government of Karnataka. Her books 'Belakinondu Kirana Mary Curie' (A Ray of Light Mary Curie), 'Peruvina Pavitra Kaniveyalli' (In the Sacred Valley of Peru), and 'Yad Vashem' have received awards from the Karnataka Sahitya Academy. 'Baduku Badalishabahudu' (Life Can Change), which won the Dr. Ha. Ma. Nayaka award, has continued as a popular series with the release of 'Save Baruvudiddare Nale Baa' (If Death Comes, Come Tomorrow), 'Solembandu Alpavirama' (Defeat is a Comma), and 'Santasana Nannede Hadu Hakki' (Joy, the Birdsong of My Heart). 'Illiyavaregina Nemichandrara Kathegalu' (Nemichandra's Stories So Far) has been published by Ankita Prakashana. The author is an engineer by profession. She has worked as Chief Designer and General Manager at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. She is a recipient of the 'Women Achiever in Aerospace' award from the 'Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries' and was honored at 'Aero India 2019'. Her interest in science, literature, and women's studies can be seen in this travelogue.
