plurality is one of the most used concepts in the political, religious and cultural debates taking place in India. The political atmosphere of hatred, which is spread like a dense mist in the country, is linked to the discussion of this concept. Like invoking rain in a drought, concepts emerge under historical pressures. In times of crisis, it is a philosophical responsibility to philosophically formulate the concepts necessary to build a peaceful nation. It is a work of cultural understanding to make those concepts encompass the country's crises, joys, dreams, thoughts, and celebrations. This cannot be done by one person. Collective engagement. It is not finished at once. It should be done continuously through discussions and dialogues.

Pluralism is the lifeblood of India, which has many professions, languages, religions, philosophies, cultures, and regions. If this breath wanes, the country will collapse. That is why pluralism should be defined as an ideal value that can uphold the equality, freedom, and fraternity enshrined in the constitution. The value concept of co-existence needs to be established as a common understanding of communities and a moving sensibility in everyday life.

Against this backdrop, some threads from the heritage of Karnataka have been sought and woven to create the fabric of pluralism. For this, the geography, society, profession, politics, religion, philosophy, drama, music, language, literature, inscriptions, paintings, movements, and institutions of the land have been taken as a basis. Through the analysis and interpretation of these, an attempt has been made to show the unique experiments of pluralism conducted by Karnataka.
